Whoever you are
I purchased this book for Caia after browsing through a list of books that promote equality for children. I never opened it till yesterday. After reading the book, it instantly became one of my favorite books.
It tells a story of differences children will see in the world. Different lands, schools, skin, looks and language. But amid all of the differences people, all people around the world are the same. My favorite quote:
“...inside their hearts are just like yours,
whoever they are,
wherever they are,
all around the world.”
Sometimes, the books that have the most meaning and relevance to life are children's books.
