It seem just like yesterday I was watching Laguna Hills, my eyes glued to the television, wondering "What the heck is Steven thinking?". I was always rooting for Lauren Conrad (LC) from the very start. I felt like I grew up with her. I watched her struggles with boys, her fashion career blossom...lets face it, I thought I knew LC. I became a bigger fan when she opened The Little Market

Small Spark, Big Impact

Lauren and Hannah are co-founders of The Little Market. They met while attending the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). The two traveled together and were inspired by the skilled artisans they met on their trips aboard. They were inspired to give back on their trip to Africa in 2012 where they met with nonprofits focusing about women and children's greatest needs. They wanted to find a way to help without limiting the people, place or the culture. They found The Little Market. This website gives shoppers the opportunity to purchase beautiful artisan crafts that are unique, handmade while supporting the artisans and their communities.

"The Little Market works with more than 40 artisan partners in over 20 countries. The artisans are from disadvantaged communities, and include women, people with disabilities, and individuals living in extreme poverty. We work with co-ops, community-based organizations and social enterprises that practice fair trade principles and offer important resources to their artisans, such as adult literacy classes, micro loan programs, and family healthcare." -The Little Market
